Sunset Silhouettes a Bald Eagle pair in this birdscape from the Tualatin River National Wildlife Refuge. Once they've eaten, I've found that Bald Eagles can sit in the same spot for hours. I waited patiently for these eagles to do something, preferably something like swooping toward me in pursuit of prey. But time passed by and they just sat there - they were so still that the sun slowly moving down the horizon was much more animated than the Eagles. Fortunately, it was a beautiful sunset and I got a good shot.
