What better place for an image of a Cactus Wren than on a cactus? Cactus Wrens are little birds that make a loud, distinctive noise that makes them sound much bigger than they are. Somehow, these birds know how to land and hop around on cactus without getting poked. The Cactus Wren is right at home in cholla, which most people know is best to avoid!
